01XC90 2.4 D5 — timing chain and vacuum system
Intermittent boost fault and a rattle when cold. Replaced the chain with tensioners, the vacuum pump and hoses, then wrote the adaptations.

Computer diagnostics in VDASH plus an inspection on the lift. Takes 40–60 minutes and you are welcome to watch.

We send the list of work and parts with prices, lead times and priorities: what is critical now and what can wait.

Repair
We work to the approved estimate. Photos and video of each stage on request, and we tell you about any change in advance.

Handover and warranty
Test drive, a final diagnostic check, warranty card and a note of when the next service is due, by date and mileage.

02XC60 D4 — Powershift, jerking under acceleration
TCM diagnostics, mechatronic unit and fluid replaced, clutch adaptation. The gearbox is smooth again.
03S60 T5 — loss of power
Blocked intercooler and a split boost hose. Flushed, hoses replaced, throttle cleaned, then road tested.
04XC90 — rear air suspension
The car sagged overnight. Replaced the air springs and the compressor repair kit, then calibrated ride height.
05V70 D5 — particulate filter and EGR
Constant regeneration and an EGR fault. DPF flushed, valve and intake cleaned, forced regeneration performed.
06XC40 Recharge — scheduled service
Service to schedule, plus checks on the hybrid high-voltage system and brakes.

Frequently asked questions about Volvo repair
Do you only work on Volvo?
Yes, and deliberately so. Staying narrow lets us keep the right tools, the right software and a stock of consumables — and it means our mechanics have seen the same faults hundreds of times.
Which scanner do you use?
VDASH is software written for Volvo rather than a generic scanner: it sees every module, reads live data, performs adaptations, configuration, service resets and forced DPF regeneration. We do not have dealer VIDA — official Volvo software updates are done by the dealer only. If a job needs exactly that, we will tell you straight away.
Can I bring my own parts?
You can. In that case the warranty covers our labour only. It is worth checking part numbers with us before you buy — we can match them exactly by VIN.
How long do parts take to arrive?
Consumables and common parts are in stock. Orders from Europe or the UAE usually take 3–10 working days. The lead time is always in the estimate, before any work starts.
What warranty do you give?
12 months or 20,000 km on our labour and the parts we fit. You get the warranty card when you collect the car.
Do I need to book in advance?
For repairs, yes — so we can prepare the parts and the lift. For diagnostics we try to take you the same day, especially if the car is undriveable.
Do you service T8 Recharge hybrids?
Yes, including work on the high-voltage system, following Volvo's safety procedure with the system properly de-energised.
Do you inspect cars before purchase?
Yes. A full pre-purchase inspection: all modules scanned, body, suspension and compression checked, plus the service history by VIN. You get a written report.
What language can I speak to you in?
Armenian, Russian or English — whichever suits you.
